Rosamond Department of Engineering and Planning is responsible for the Districts' Wells, Water Tanks, Water and Sewer lines, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Construction and Information Technologies.

Engineering Projects

The District is reissuing a proposal to Capital Pacific for two well sites (Wells 10 and 11). The District is also pursuing other options for additional groundwater production sites.

Rosamond Regional CDPH Arsenic Compliance Project - The District received notice that the application was complete on May 14, 2009. However, the State cannot market the Prop. 84 bonds that will fund the project at this time due to the State's current financial condition.

Semitropic-Rosamond Water Bank. District staff is working with representatives and consultants of the Authority and AVEK to move forward with facilities needed to continue developing the Antelope Valley unit of the bank and utilize the recent Federal grant award.
